Believe it or not, yesterday was even more fun than day 1. I spent a good portion of the day hanging out in the BFC Press Lounge chatting to bloggers, style spotting and general mingling. As far as outfits go I wanted to wear my new jeans so decided on a colour clashing combination. Now, If you've been reading the blog for a while you'll know that I don't wear jeans. I have tons in my wardrobe but I just don't wear them any more because, you know, they're boring! Anyway, my new pair are red so they're a little more exciting the blue denim.
I bumped into Sherin and Rachel and we hung out for a while which was lovely. I also had a quick chat with Jessica and Emily plus I saw Susie in Topshop for a bloggers workshop which was really interesting.
In the evening I went straight to High Street Ken to meet friend T for a birthday dinner. After a disastrous detour into Central London to find friend G but failing due to lack of battery on my phone we returned home in the wee hours. As you can imagine getting up bright and early this morning was a massive failure.
Red jeans from Zara
Peach top and pink socks from Topshop
Leopard coat from H&M
Wedges from Pierre Hardy x Gap
Ring from Primark
Necklace from Thailand
I got this wooden necklace from the market in Bangkok when I was travelling and I adore it. All the discs make it a bit of a statement piece so it's perfect for glamouring up a plain top. The socks and shoe combination can be seen in better light here. I bumped into Brix Smith Start and whilst I was having a bit of a fan girl moment she told me she LOVED what I was wearing!! This pretty much made my day!!!Peach top and pink socks from Topshop
Leopard coat from H&M
Wedges from Pierre Hardy x Gap
Ring from Primark
Necklace from Thailand

Despite all the craziness I had a wonderful day and surprised myself by wearing my heels for the entire duration. There was a lot of sitting in the Press Lounge and at dinner but it was the first time ever I've worn heels for a period of 14 hours so I was pretty impressed with myself.
Only one more LFW what I wore post and then I'll show you my street style photos and other things I saw. It's been so much fun but I'm glad today is my last day because I'm exhausted. Bring on SS12 when I'll be a lot more organised and actually know what to do and where to go.
Skiing tomorrow x

ReplyDeleteLove the red trews and glad to see you made the most of day 2!
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that you made it to the blog workshop, Susie is awesome- I said hi to her on Friday while she was working away at the bloggers bar, but felt bad when a fan approached and pushed her camera into my hands for a photo of the two of them!
Have fun on your skiing trip.
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful clothes you wear! :D x
ReplyDeleteStill, good job! I love hearing fashion week tales. :) Well done on the heels too, I don't know if I would have lasted!

Loved finally meeting up! I loved those trousers as well. Hope you enjoyed yesterday as well.
ReplyDeleteI see spring creeping in under the leopard prints!! I just grin seeing you in those lovely bright colours!
ReplyDeletegood that you had fun:) seems like a fun time! I want to go back to london and eat Garfunkel again.
ReplyDeleteThese jeans are not boring AT ALL! Did you see the colourful row of denims in the exhibition?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a super fun day - and now you're off skiing... Lucky girl!
Wow, the necklace. Love it. Just read your comment on my blog, lovey - I'm from the North of Ireland! :) I'm jealous of your adventures at London Fashion Week. I'm doing a behind-the-scenes post on Belfast Fashion Week (although, significantly less fabulous than London) in two weeks, when I'm being the photographer backstage. It shouldn't be as star-studded, but it'll be inspiring all the same.

I really like how you've paird those wedges with the jeans! You wear bright, vibrant colours really well! Your style is really refreshing and unique.
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is wonderful! How strange is it? but in an exciting way as I've never seen anything quite like it before. Very tribal!

Ooohhh, I'm reading all these LFW posts and I'm gettting really envious. Everyone seems to agree it was a "surreal" experience and I can imagine! Glad you had a wondeful time and got to meet so many new people. And 14 hours in heels?? I take my (imaginary)hat off to you.
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is really unique. Bangkok truly is a shopping haven, isn't it?
wow it sounds like the most fun, I cant wait for my first one this season!
