Made these delicious beauties on Sunday. They're just normal vanilla cupcakes with some food colouring loosely mixed into the sponge. They kinda look mildly disturbing but fun nevertheless!
The icing was so sugary I felt ill after eating one but that's what cupcakes are all about. The more ill you feel from eating them the better they are surely? Maybe....
Have you baked recently x
I made raspberry and white choc cake. Need to get the recipe up on the blog xx
ReplyDeleteI made something quite similar for my sister's birthday - 4 layer sponge with each layer a different colour - so so sugary!!

Oh these look sooo good! I'm starving right now lol. I baked a banana bread at the weekend; was delicious and used up all my over ripe bananas. Yum. x
ReplyDeleteYum! I love the icing colour - reminds me of tiffany&co!
ReplyDeleteI love baking. Might do some this weekend! x

Those looks scummy, they do look sugary but sometimes I just have that craving for really sickly sweet foods. The topping looks especially delicious! I walked past a cupcake stall today in town and I was drooling! But at £4 a cupcake I couldn't justify forking out for one, I just thought it would be far cheaper to make a batch of my own!
ReplyDeleteYeah the jumper sold out rather fast I must say, I'm sure it sold out but then restocked a bit more due to going into the sale but I've seen similar in topshop so keep checking ebay and you might find one!
haha- well at least you waited until you baked them. My problem is I usually eat half the cake mixture/cookie dough before it goes in the oven!x :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't baked for ages sadly! My friend made some green tea cupcakes which were very very yummy x
ReplyDeleteHa ha these are great! I made some cookies yesterday :)

I need to be baking more cakes, seems I have let that slip recently. In the past few days I have been baking the Big Fat Salt & Pepper Breadsticks from Lorraine Pascales book. I have to say, they are amazing! Made two batches already. Even my brother is obsessed with them, and usually he won't eat anything I bake, success.
ReplyDeleteThose cupcakes look yummy by the way :)
Much Love
