A few weeks ago I went along to the Design Museum to see their temporary Coca Cola archive and the other exhibitions. This was a museum I'd never been to in the past or heard a lot about but when G told me about the exhibition I was instantly intrigued as I'd done a piece of course work on Coca Cola during my MSc last year.

The exhibition was small (and has now been moved) but I did enjoy how it was displayed in a glass cabinet along the river so anyone could stop by and have a look. There were lots of old Cola bottles so you could see how the design had changed over the years plus there were several pictures of advertising campaigns which were all very interesting.

We also went into the museum to see the other exhibitions including the entries for the Design Awards 2011. There were lots of interesting inventions including furniture, iPad apps, cars, gadgets and fashion, however I did think the entry price was a little on the steep side considering the small size of the place.

Have you been to the Design Museum before x
